The past 3 years Ethan won his school's best costume award - first appearing as Aladdin when he was kindy, then the Scarecrow in year 1, and as a Loompa Loompa last year. Lani and I asked him if he wanted to dress more relaxed this year but he wasn't keen on it. He wanted to win.
Lani suggested he play Grumpy in Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. We were already driving towards KMart to buy props when I joked that he should dress like a pig. He bought the idea and said why don't he go as the three little pigs instead? Got me thinking, and soon after, lo and behold, Mr Three Little Pigs himself:
Ethan of course won the competition, and got his 4th award in as many tries.
