Our regional boss has resigned and so I, along with a colleague, are needed to fly to Singapore to do handovers. And we need to be there soon - like in a week. I've been putting off my passport application because I didn't think I had to go out of the country any time soon. Oh well, it's an amazing race again.

We were told of the trip on Monday. Tuesday, I got all my docs ready and headed to the post office to apply for a passport. Asked for priority processing, of course. Thursday afternoon (2pm+), I received an email from the passport office that it's ready but allow for a day to reach the collection centre. I called the centre and asked if I can pick it up today. They said yes, as long as I can get there before 4pm. After a short meeting, I quickly drove off and got to the passport office 10mins before close.
Flights are booked for Monday.
