A date with the kids

It's a 2-week school holiday and I feel bad that the kids have been stuck in the house for most of that time. So ahead of our family holiday (Cruise), I decided to take a couple more days off work so I can bring the kids around.

I did ask them were they wanted to go and the only place they can think of is Sealife and Wildlife so that's where we headed to.

On Thursday, 26th Apr, we went to Sealife Sydney to see the fishes, and sharks, and, and dugongs and all. The park had a Paw Partol (cartoon) theme though and there were activities around it, including looking for marks around the park so you can stamp stickers on your maps. The kids ended up getting more involved in the Paw patrol chase than the animals they were looking at. Oh well, kids..

We finished up around after lunch time and quickly drove to Hyde Park to fetch a friend a his family who were staying with us for the weekend. They had a young toddler and Erin quickly got close with.

After picking them up, we headed back to Darling Harbour where the kids played at the Darling Quarter playground. Time quickly flew by and very soon it was 5pm and time to fetch Mommy from work.

On Friday, 27th Apr, we headed back to Darling Harbour, to use the 2nd part of our 2-attraction tickets. The kids were undecided on whether to go to Wildlife or Madamme Tussaud's but we did end up going to the wax museum. I argued that they weren't interested in the animals anyway, they preferred looking for stickers - there were plenty of that in the museum.

They did enjoy the museum. I'd say probably even more than Sealife. But the attraction was too small/short that Erin asked that we go back to the start and do another round and take more photos. So we did.

After we attraction, we relaxed a little bit at the Darling Shopping Centre eating ice creams and cakes before heading to St Leonards to pickup Mommy.
