It was on 8th of Oct 2014 when we first found out that I have cancer. I have since gone through colon resection, chemotherapy, yearly colonoscopies and CT-scans, and multiple visits to my oncologist. Today marks the end of that journey as my doctor confirms the results of my recent tests, that I am in complete remision.However. Of course there is a "however". However, the doctor says because my cancer was hereditary, I am still at greater risk of relapse, so he wants to continue my seeing me annually, and while at it, continue to do annual colonoscopies and scans. In other words, nothing's changing.
Well, it's good to know that I've reached this milestone.
