This morning, as soon as Erin woke ip, she immediately texted me asking what time we will be home. I asked why, and she said she wanted to go to big Erin’s house to pick ip the skates. She’s very excited. So going home from work, Lani and I passed by the Luzons to grab the pair of shoes.
When we hot home, Erin was already waiting at the door. I handed her the bag and she already knew what it was. She opened it up eagerly, wore the safety straps, and started skate.
Of course, she doesn’t know how to skate yet. So she couldn’t even stand up on her own. Lani and I thought her the basics and though her to start very low, as in slump to the ground and using her hands to push herself off. Just to help her get more comfortable.
Within 15 mins, she could already stand up on her on, and in an hour she’s already “walking” on skates without any assistance. Now, she’s already practicing how to glide.
She’s a really determine person. She’s an achiever to doesn’t stop until she’s gotten what she wants. I’m really proud of my little girl.
