School holiday is still upon us but it was Lani and myself's last day off of work, so we decided to enjoy the bit of sun and headed to the beach. Lani wanted to visit a calm beach so we ended west to Windsor to visit the Macquarie Park Calm River.
It was a lovely place, quite secluded, with very calm saltwater river. We brought out pop-up tent with us along with foldeable seats and plenty of KFC takeaways. The kids enjoyed swimming as they always do, while Lani and I spent most of our time in the tent watching Kdrama, before joining the kids in the water.
On our way home, we passed by Kellyville Pets, one of the largest pet shops in Sydney. Erin enjoyed looking at all the animals they had in store and of course asked us again to buy her a puppy. Maybe next time. Tee hee!
