We were booked for a 4-night holiday at Big4 Ingenia Resorts Lake Conjola this week, along with our friends the Luzons, Madulis, and Carungays.
But unforuntaley, the continuous rain brought in floods around the region so we were forced to cancel our trip. So what would have been a relaxing stay-and-relax-in-a-resort situation became a few days of shopping and going to places. Oh well, a holiday is a holiday.
So here's how our holiday ended up being:
July 3, Sunday
- We were supposed to leave midday but the rains prevented us from going, and so we did the next best thing - help in Chapel general cleaning.
- We also booked tickets for Mary Poppins, but that's a few weeks away
July 4, Monday
- I went back to the Chapel to do some repair and construction work
- Lani and the kids spent the afternoon doing cakes - Braso de Mercedes
- Then Lani and I did our laundry
- And capped the night watching Minions with the entire crew
July 5, Tuesday
- Lani and Erin went on a shopping date at Westfield Parramatta
- Ethan and I helped a bit more at the church
- Then we all met up at Westfield for late lunch
- The kids bought a Lego toy which they, along with Lani, spend all of their evening working on.
July 6, Wednesday
- Shopping again, this time at Birkenhead Point
- Then down to Costco for our groceries
- Again, they bought Lego to spend the night on
And Thursday was back to work.
