Unity Games, Brisbane and Gold Coast 2022

It’s time for Unity Games again, this time it’s NSW vs QLD! And since we’re driving 12hours to participate in the 2-day event, we’ve decided to make the best of the trip and spend the entire week in Queensland.

1 Oct, Saturday

  • Attended worship services in the local of Parramatta
  • After lunch, we went on with the first half of our journey. 
  • Drove 6 hours to Mclean with stops at Taree and Port Macquarie
  • We reached the motel at around 9pm.
  

2 Oct, Sunday
  • Gold Coast for the Unity Games CWS Athletics. Erin and Aeron participated in most of the events.
  • Then we went for lunch at with the Madulis & Carungays
  • With the short break that we had, we headed up to Brisbane to check in to our accommodation at Coopers Plains.
  • After a bit of rest, we drove back to Gold Coast to join the Unity Games Bowling at Robina
  • Past 9pm, we headed back to Brisbane for a good night's rest
 

 


3 Oct, Monday
  • Unity Games Basketball and Volleyball to the Nissan Arena, about 7 mins drive from our accommodation
  

  


4 Oct, Tuesday
  • Travelled to Gold Coast to meet up with the Esperanzas and other families. It was David's birthdays so we spent the morning on the park to BBQ while the kids play
  • In the afternoon, we headed to the beach 
  • Went back to Brisbane past 4pm
  • Then the adults left for dinner at the Taruc's house in North Brisbane
 

  



5 Oct, Wednesday
  • Movie World
  

 

 

  

6 Oct, Thursday
  • Wet n Wild

  


7 Oct, Friday
  • Sea World
  • At around 4pm, we departed for our drive back to NSW 
  • After about 3 hours, we stopped for dinner at Hungry Jacks, Coffs Harbour
  • Then headed to our overnight accommodation in Kempsey
 

 


8 Oct, Saturday
  • Left the motel at around 11am
  • Headed to Bago Vineyards for brunch and play in the hedge maze
  • Left just past 1pm and drove home to Carlingford in time for the 6pm worship services
  

 

 

 

 




Time to start planning the next trip.
