We normally just celebrate birthdays at home with a simple lunch or dinner with family and friends. This time around though, Ethan wanted something else - a day out with his friends. In particular, he wanted to do an Escape Room challenge with them.
So Ethan invited his 5 closest friends and we headed off to Strike at Macquarie there they went did the challenge. The kids only needed 28 munities to finish off the 1-hour Escape Room challenge. I thought they were amazing!
We also booked them for Laser Tag and Bowling to make the day a bit more fun. And since the smaller kids (Erin, Aeron, and Francine) couldn't join the Escape Room, I went down with them to go on a round of ice-skating. After the games, we all went to the food court for McDonalds snacks.
