This afternoon we had our local's Anniversary Program and a bunch of us formed a band to perform the finale. And I tell you, it was great being up there again. Woo hoo!
We played two songs (yeah, a little bitin). I was on guitars the first song and keyboards on the last. Ka Marlon played acoustic guitar on the second (sorry, not in pic). Ka Alfred played bass (he's very good at it!) and vocals. Ka Bobby was on his yahama electric drums (sorry, Ka bobs, face not showing). And Ka Lito was sitting on the box (cajon), literally :DThe set was not meant for band music, I could barely hear my guitar, so I don't know if we sounded well at all. But we are covered, we had some pro's in our group - Ka Alfred (did I mention that he's very good?) and Ka Marlon (who got to work on his outstanding solo just 2 hours before the gig). Well, the audience did ask for an Encore, so it felt great. Maraming maraming salamat po, dear brethren! You're very nice! hehehe!
Hmmmm... so when could the next gig be?

ReplyDeleteIt's good to hear n my banda ka na ulet. At least my 1st stage performance ka na after a long, long long years. Than,galing mo pa naman sa mga instruments kya dpat lng maenjoy mo ulet ang mga gigs at jamming ng grupo nyo. Goodluck n lng sa next stage band performance nyo. Rock & Roll...
